My name is Mya Field, and I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me. I grew up in the charming town of East Hampton, Connecticut. Coming from a small, close-knit community instilled in me the importance of broadening my horizons, ultimately leading me to seek opportunities in a larger, more dynamic environment. This aspiration brought me to Tampa, where I was drawn by its vibrant city atmosphere and year-round sunshine. I chose to attend the University of Tampa, a decision influenced by its distinguished AACSB accreditation, which reflects the university’s commitment to excellence in business education and its global recognition for academic rigor. Relocating from Connecticut to Florida has underscored the importance of fostering meaningful connections and cultivating new relationships. This journey has not only strengthened my independence but has also honed my problem-solving abilities, equipping me to thrive in diverse and challenging situations.
My Interests
I have a strong passion for trying cuisines from all over the world and love discovering new restaurants that introduce me to different flavors and styles of cooking. Exploring new dining spots has become one of my favorite activities, as it allows me to expand my palate and appreciate the diversity of global cuisine. In Tampa, my current favorite is Union New American, a place that brings together inventive dishes and high-quality ingredients.
I firmly believe that exercise is one of the most powerful forms of self-care, as it nurtures both the body and mind. One of my favorite ways to practice this is through daily walks, which not only offer physical benefits but also serve as moments of reflection and connection. The place where I do this best is Bayshore Boulevard. This routine has become an essential part of my self-care practice.
I discovered my passion for photography through my experiences as a social media influencer. While I love being in front of the camera, one of my favorite pastimes is organizing fun photoshoots with friends at different locations. Exploring new backdrops and capturing creative moments not only allows us to express our artistic sides but also creates lasting memories.
For me, family and friends are the cornerstone of a fulfilling life. In my free time, I cherish moments spent with those closest to me, enjoying their company and reflecting on shared memories. Whether it’s gathering for heartfelt conversations or laughing over stories from the past, these moments remind me of what truly matters and deepen the bonds that mean the most.
Although I haven’t had many chances to travel so far, I’m eager to make exploring the world a priority in my post-grad life. The places I have explored so far have inspired me to learn more and seek out new experiences. At the top of my list is visiting Italy, not just for its stunning landscapes and rich culture but also to connect more deeply with my heritage.
There’s nothing quite like the peace I feel when I’m at the beach. Swimming in the crystal-clear waters and feeling the warmth on my skin brings me to a state of pure bliss and relaxation. And really, what better place to experience all of this than Florida? It’s the ultimate escape to happiness and serenity.
